From September 23 to 24, Korea University Sejong Campus hosted the ‘2024 Graduate School Fair & Zero Waste Week Campaign’ at Korea University Sejong Campus.
This event, organized by the Office of Research and Business, Graduate School Research & Education Team, was designed to provide useful information to students preparing for graduate school and to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development.
Various groups participated in the event, including BrainKorea21 Four Project Division, Sejong Eco Industry Convergence and Open Sharing Center, the Advanced Semiconductor Process Equipment Human Resource Development Project Team, the LINK3.0 Foundation, Sejong, Regional Innovation System - Autonomous Mobility Research Division, as well as various departments and majors of the graduate school.
The event featured a range of programs, including graduate school counseling booths, faculty and department introductions, Zero Waste campaign experience programs, and eco-friendly prize events. Through this event, participants received tailored counseling to help them set their academic goals and also experienced and learned practical ways to protect the environment.
Vice President Kim Young stated, "This fair encompasses two important topics—graduate school admissions and environmental protection. We hope it serves as an opportunity to provide participants with information about further studies while spreading values for a sustainable future."
On a related note, Korea University Sejong Campus is realizing social values through various research projects and educational programs aimed at sustainable development.
