Korea University Sejong Campus is a young, central axis of Korea University’s ambitious endeavor to advance to the world and future. Established in 1980, Korea University Jochiwon Branch as an advance base for Korea University’s future-oriented growth was of a small scale consisting only of 8 departments with 400 students. Having continuously taken quantum leaps forward over the past 40 years to accelerate its growth, in 2020, Korea University Sejong Campus is currently displaying innovation in all directions as a guide for the pioneering intellects in their journey towards the future.
The existing UI was upgraded in 2005 in time for the 100th anniversary of Korea University. It was created under the vision of Korea University, which intends to “advance to the world’s best university” based on its long history and tradition.

Tiger, the symbol of Korea University and Korean nation, symbolizes courage, determination, alacrity, and dignity, whereas 1905 as the founding year of Korea University shows Korea University’s profound academic accomplishments and long tradition of over 100 years.
