Since establishment in 1949, Korea University Graduate School has focused on fostering future academic leaders capable of creating and applying new knowledge and information under the motto of “education through research.”

We intend to renew our role as a space for new knowledge and value creation that responds to the future environment through continuous innovation in line with the trend of globalization and informatization.

To this end, we are promoting a number of innovations including student-oriented academic structure improvement, establishment of integrated curricular and non-curricular education system and restructuring of the administrative support system. In addition, we will seek for continuous change by expanding interdisciplinary convergence education and research programs and future industry-leading curriculum, and supporting industry-university cooperation research activities. We will also focus on strengthening practical research and social contribution at the same time as protecting the rights and interests of researchers and fulfilling our social responsibilities.
