College of Science and Technology

Leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution era, the College provides advanced science and technology education with the world’s top-class faculty and research outcomes. We aim for the second leap through our Fourth Industrial Revolution-related advanced science and technology departments at the joint campus in Sejong Special Self-governing City where Korea University Sejong Campus will be located along with Techno Valley and NAVER Data Center.

Currently consisting of 14 departments and three research institutions, the College intensively fosters advanced engineering fields, such as ICT, NT, BT, ET and HT along with basic scientific fields. We are continuing our efforts for innovation by opening the Dept. of Accelerator Science as the first in Korea in 2014, and the Dept. of Intelligent Semiconductor Engineering and the Dept. of Future Mobility in 2022.

The College of Science and Technology has also been selected for the Level 4 BK21 project, regional innovation projects based on local government - university cooperation, LNC 3.0 project, etc. to lead innovative development in the future. Based on the effort so far, the College of Science and Technology aims to become the best college in Korea by 2030.
