School Year
- First Year: Students who have acquired no more than 33 (35) credits
- Second Year: Students who have registered for three or more semesters and acquired 34 (36) credits or more and less than 67 (71) credits
- Third Year: Students who have registered for five or more semesters and acquired 68 (72) credits or more and less than 101 (105) credits
- Fourth Year: Students who have registered for seven or more semesters and acquired 102 (106) credits or more
- Credits in parentheses apply to departments (division) requiring 135 credits or more for graduation
- Regulations for students affiliated with the College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, etc. are separately stipulated

- “P (pass)” is given to students passing a course evaluated on pass/fail basis
- “S (satisfactory)” is awarded for courses that recognize credits without performance assessment
- “I (incomplete)” is given when assessment for the semester is temporarily deferred. If the grade is not confirmed within a set period of time, I is converted to F
- Grades recognized for the awarding of credits (A+ to D, P and S)
- Grade Recognition without Test: Students who are unable to take an examination due to military service, illness, mourning or other unavoidable circumstances must submit an explanatory statement and required documents (copy of draft notice, medical certificate, obituary notice, etc.) to the administration office of the respective department before the examination
Academic Evaluation

- - Sejong Campus's grade evaluation method is divided into absolute evaluation, relative evaluation, and P/F evaluation..
- - The relative evaluation ratio is as shown in the table below, and grades A+, A, B+, and B in absolute evaluation subjects are evaluated based on the same ratio.(Evaluation rates are cumulative)
- (However, for courses of relative evaluation of which the number of students is less than 20 and foreign language lectures, the evaluation can be conducted as absolute evaluation.)

Academic Warning
- Students achieving a GPA of less than 1.75 for a semester receives an academic warning, and the warning is recorded in the school register
- The academic warning is reported to the student, the student’s guardian and academic advisor (head of the respective department (division))
- Students receiving an academic warning for three consecutive semesters are removed from the school register
- Students registered for less than 12 credits will receive an academic warning but are not subject to the consecutive warnings clause referred to in paragraph 3
Credit Withdrawal
- Up to six credits can be withdrawn limitedly when course retaking is impossible as the course has been abolished
- The course is marked with “W (withdraw)” and not reflected in the GPA
- For credit withdrawal, students who have registered for seven or more semesters and completed 102 credits or more (106 credits for colleges(schools) and departments (divisions) (transfer students in the fourth year) under Article 57(2)) must submit the application for withdrawal during the prescribed period
- The application for credit withdrawal can be submitted once and, upon submission, the application cannot be withdrawn or corrected
- Credits from the courses that are being taken cannot be withdrawn
- Courses of which the credits have been withdrawn cannot be retaken
- Credits earned through field training cannot be given up. Be sure to check the credits required for graduation before applying. If the number of credits earned in a specific semester falls below 17 (18) by giving up credits, you may lose the qualifications set by the academic operation regulations, such as selection as an outstanding student for graduation, so check the relevant regulations before applying.
- For credits obtained prior to the spring semester of 2014, up to six points can be withdrawn regardless of whether the course has been abolished without a similar course
